HistoryBeaufort's strolls was opened in March 2015. Locally owned and operated by Beaufort S.C native Nichole Myers. Nichole's best friend of 20 years works along side of Nichole as one of the tour guides. Nichole had done historical tours in the past, and remembered always seeing people walking with their cameras , taking photos of one another in front of the historic homes, historical sites, and some of the most stunning locations in the historic district. There was always someone missing in the photo ( one taking the photo). Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a historical photo walking tour ? Where we could offer to take photos of EVERYONE together , share the history behind the photo , & if they did not have a camera, offer to use one of ours and email them the photos. One of our talented and licensed tour guides , armed with a camera , will take you and your camera on a 2 hour narrarated stroll through Beaufort's historic district. Slip back into Beaufort's past , as you walk under the grand Live Oaks of the south, and past breath taking antebellum & colonial homes. You will witness some of the most beautiful views the Lowcountry has to offer. Throughout the 2.5 mile tour you will breath the salt air and learn about Beaufort's rich history ,from the Spanish first landing in 1526, the Yamasee Indian war, revolutionary war , the civil war, and much more. We offer to photograph your family or group in some of the cities most stunning locations. When you return home with your photos to share with friends & family, you will have some beautiful pictures of your ENTIRE group. Feel free to bring your own camera to capture these moments or one of our friendly guides will use theirs and we will gladly email you your photos. You will also be able to share with others some of the history and stories behind the sights and homes you photographed. These are more than photos, these are memories in the making and we are here to help you capture them.
