The Fishburne Head Start Educational Center is a child care facility that takes part in the federal Early Childhood Learning Knowledge Center program, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services. The services are offered at no cost, provided that the family income meets federal guidelines, and enrollment is open to students who will turn 3 during the school year. The curriculum is designed to help keep children on track and develop learning as well as social skills. The Fishburne Education Center facility also offers night classes for adults, including a GED program for those looking for their high school equivalency.
