Operating from a 250,000-square-foot facility in Williston, S.C., Dayco Products factory covers approximately 50 acres. Dayco manufactures automotive drive belts, tensioners, pulleys and hoses. The company is a supplier to General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota and other major automotive manufactures. Dayco has earned Ford Q1, Chrysler Pentastar, Toyota Best In Class and other prestigious quality awards. Mark IV Industries bought Dayco in 1988. Dayco began in Dayton, Ohio, as the Dayton Rubber Manufacturing Company in 1905. Among its first products was the rubber-sealing ring for glass jars used in home canning. Headquartered in Tulsa, Okla., Dayco Products opened in Williston in November 1978.
