History
In 1925 Hamid Addahoumi opened the first Boeshreen sweet shop in Benghazi Libya. It consisted of a simple stall and a busy market name souk al Jareed where each of his sons worked to make and sell simple traditional Arabic sweets. Boeshreen has expanded to become a prominent trademark of quality. Boeshreen sweet shop soon expanded across the city, growing from one location to nearly a dozen. This expansion continues even today with the opening of our first American Boeshreen Sweet shop in Columbia South Carolina in 2015 Now and it's fourth generation, Boeshreen sweets continues a family tradition in which Mustafa, an engineer by trade, combines his family heritage with innovative product design to in sure Boeshreen carries the rich family legacy into the future for his own sons.
Specialties
We specialize in middle eastern food. Our full middle eastern menu is served on Thursday Friday and Saturday only. We have several dishes available throughout the week such as Falafel plate or Shakshuka plate. We also have hummus baba ghanou and grape leaves available every day.
