Black Rooster is a French-American bistro from one of Columbia's top chef/restaurateurs, Kristian Niemi. With a bright, mid-century modern dining room and expansive rooftop bar overlooking the rivers and Columbia cityscape, its a casual restaurant with French-inspired dishes ranging from Mussels in a Garlicky Broth to Steak Frites. The bar program features the same level of cocktails you'd expect from the owners of Bourbon, as well as an all-French wine list and eight local beers on tap. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
