The University of South Carolina Beaufort is a senior educational institution that serves the southeast coast regions of Georgia and South Carolina. Founded in 1795, it consists of north and south campuses that jointly serve more than 1,400 students. The university offers baccalaureate degrees in mathematics, humanities, and natural, professional and social science. The University of South Carolina Beaufort provides associate of arts and science degrees to military personnel at Marine Corps Air Station and Parris Island Recruit Depot.
