Andrea Hall is a board-certified nurse practitioner with MUSC Health - Pulmonology caring for patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. A graduate of South University, Hall earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in adult-gerontology primary care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Andrea Hall is currently a Doctoral of Nursing Practice Candidate with anticipated dissertation defense through Clemson University. Her research focus is to educate and encourage early screening and detection of breast cancers in the African American female population. Hall also holds certification as a cancer genetics counselor in the primary care setting. Hall began her career in healthcare as a nurse intern with Beaufort Memorial Hospital (BMH) on the medical-surgical unit. Once she completed her BSN-RN, she worked as a registered nurse in the operating room. As a nurse practitioner, Hall went on to work as a surgical nurse practitioner with Beaufort Memorial Surgical Specialists practice, specializing in general surgery and trauma. Andrea served as surgical first assist as well as evaluating and managing patients from the emergency department through post-operative management. During her tenure at BMH, she also served as the da Vinci robotic program coordinator.As a pulmonary nurse practitioner, Hall works diligently alongside the pulmonologists in a team approach to provide care for patients in the acute care setting as well as to manage patients with chronic respiratory disease.
