Waltrip High School
Waltrip High School, established in 1959, is affiliated with the Houston Independent School District, and provides enrollment to more than 800 students in grades nine through 12. The school provides various student services, such as library, counseling, career center, scholarships and policies, and is located in Houston. It has various departments, such as business, computer technology, English, fine arts, foreign language, home economics, industrial arts, math, physical education science, social studies, and marketing and special education. Waltrip High School also provides classes in child development, photography and drama. Its amenities include terrazzo floors, commons areas, pool, parking, patio, auditorium, and lounge and restrooms. It also offers a range of sports activities, including cross country, football, field hockey, golf, tennis, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, swimming, and track and field.
