Potter-Burns School, administrated by the Pawtucket School Department, serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers a range of learning, extracurricular and athletic opportunities. The school provides instruction in art, music and physical education. In addition, it offers guidance, health screening, counseling, transportation and food services. The school also has a parent-teacher organization that organizes a variety of programs and events, including book fairs, musical performances, family nights, field trips and assemblies. In addition, the organization offers classroom supplies. It has a school improvement team that works for the overall development of the institution. Founded in 1914, the elementary school is based in Pawtucket, R.I.
