Groden Center
The Groden Center works to improve the lives of children, youth and their families with autism, behavioral disorders and developmental disabilities. It focuses on independence and inclusion through the provision of intensive learning and living environments and is dedicated to understanding the developmental needs of its children and youth. The center provides a range of individualized services and offers instruction in functional emotional, social development and skill development, communication, domestic responsibilities, community awareness, adaptive living and vocational education. The Groden Center serves children and youth between the ages of 3 and 21 and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 21 from Rhode Island and other neighboring states. It is a part of The Groden Network, which operates various centers for people with developmental challenges.
