Youth Advocate Programs provides community-based services and serves more than 10,000 youth and families annually. It has more than 2,000 employees and operates over 125 programs in nearly 10 states. It offers a wide range of services and programs, such as after care programs, school-based programs, independent living and life skills programs, supported work programs, medical assistance funded mobile therapy and behavioral health programs. It also provides services for autistic children, family outpatient clinics, homebuilders programs, and wraparound and advocacy programs. It receives funding from federal agencies, private grants and individual donations. Youth Advocate Programs was founded in 1975 and is located in Harrisburg, Pa., with regional centers in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Ohio and South Carolina.
