History
Wise County Biscuits was established in Pittsburgh by James Wolfe and Lena Laskaris. After years of cooking in and operating restaurants in Washington, DC, James and Lena have returned to where they first met to put down roots. Wise County Biscuits is inspired by the Appalachian home cooking of James' grandma Sallie. Breakfast was always the most important meal of the day and afternoons were spent on the porch stringing beans, shucking corn and picking greens. Wise County Biscuits can be found at a variety of locations throughout the Pittsburgh area. Check out our events page, follow us on social media or subscribe to our mailing list to stay in the loop. Hope to see you soon!
