History
Weatherbury Farm is a certified organic sustainable family farm located in the rolling hills of southwestern Pennsylvania. Weatherbury Farm is the only small farm producing estate flours, akin to an estate wine. Our inputs, farming methods and processing are compliant with the USDA National Organic Program; our mill is inspected by the PA Department of Agriculture.
Specialties
Taste the difference Weatherbury Farm's organic flours make! From putting the seed in the ground to putting the flour in the bag everything is done at the farm. The flours, ground slowly and at a low temperature on a stone mill, retain the grain's vitamins, minerals, oils and fiber giving the flours their delicious unique flavors. Weatherbury Flours are organic flours milled to order. Order one week prior to pickup, which are scheduled once per month. Our products are also available through Penn's Corner CSA and East End Food Co-Op in Pittsburgh. Weatherbury Farm mills organic stone ground wheat, bread, rye, pastry and buckwheat flour from organic grains grown on the farm. Grass fed and finished meats are also raised and sold by pre-order.
