WBCB has been on the air since Dec. 8, 1957. It is a 24-hour AM radio station providing news, talk, sports and music programs. The station recently invested in state-of-the-art equipment to help improve and strengthen its broadcast reach. The station is run by Progressive Broadcasting Corporation President Pasquale T. Deon, Sr. and Vice President and General Manager Merrill Reese. Early in his career, Reese worked as a newscaster for the station before becoming widely recognized as the "Voice of the Philadelphia Eagles."
