By far the larger of Royersford's two borough parks, Victory Park occupies most of the area between the boundaries of 2nd Avenue, 3rd Avenue, Green Street and Washington Street. Dense thickets of mature trees shelter a pair of brightly colored playgrounds, a veterans memorial, picnic pavilions, and an attractive footbridge that crosses a small tributary of the nearby Schuylkill River. Two basketball courts are also available. The centerpiece of the park is arguably its youth baseball field, renamed in 2009 for late community leader Ron Nettles and situated near the park's east corner. Pavilions may be used by reservation only. Pets, bicycles, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
