Jan M. Wiley is the founder and senior partner of The Wiley Group and has been practicing law since 1963 when he graduated from the Dickinson School of Law (now the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.) He currently concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration and elder law. During his distinguished career he has served as Assistant District Attorney for York County (1969-1973), as president of the York County Bar Association and on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Committee on Problems for the Aged. He is a member of the York County, Pennsylvania and American Bar associations and is currently admitted to practice before the Supreme and Superior Courts of Pennsylvania, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition to his contributions to the legal profession, Mr. Wiley has served as a director for numerous local and statewide private and civic organizations, including as chairman of the advisory board for Mellon Bank, Dillsburg office (formerly Commonwealth National Bank.) He has been published in Who's Who in the Law for 25 years and was inducted into the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., in 1992.
