History
We purchased the original property in 1991. The building had previously been crafted into 5 separate apartments and thus was a full restoration project. We officially opened with the Jacob Ridgway Room available in 1994 after three years of tireless restoration. Soon thereafter, we opened up the other five original rooms, four of which had shared bathrooms. Later, we renovated closet spaces in two of the rooms so that each room would have a private bathroom. Some years later, the original carriage house, which had been sold off separately and turned into a duplex, came up for sale and we jumped on it to put the property back to its original state. Unfortunately, the carriage house had been almost completely renovated to accommodate the duplex. So we decided to keep the two apartments and use them as modernized condo style rentals. On site we have a complete history of the house, property and previous owners, as well as a look into the before and after of our restoration.
