History
The Speckled Sheep LLC in Lancaster Pa was established in May 2014 by 3 young ladies inspired by the fiber arts. As a business we hope to help teach the community more about the fiber arts and help revive the traditions of old by bringing new life to crafts like knitting, spinning, weaving, crocheting, rug hooking and more. Since May of 2014 we have expanded our selection of products to include not only commercially sourced products but also many local artisans. We now carry over 20 small businesses', indie dyers', artists', farms' and crafters' products and we are proud to work with each one of them. On Leap Day in 2016 The Speckled Sheep moved to a new location effectively tripling their size from their original location. With ample room for lessons, spinning, weaving and just sitting and chatting with friends while enjoying the yarn, the new location is definitely a favorite LYS.
