The Teaching Museum for the Fiber Arts and Textiles - Explore - Create - Learn. While visiting our museum, you will engage in hands-on demonstrations - learning how our agricultural and industrial industry first started and developed through the 1800-1900-2000 centuries. History buffs: The museum is located on a farmstead that dates back to 1750. Learn its family history. Visit with our animal friends alpacas, sheep, horses, and others. Stop in our gift shop to see and/or purchase a hand-crafted item made by our instructors and youth. Our museum is open to individuals, families, youth groups, schools, adult clubs & associations, etc. Special arrangements and events can be made. Help us keep the fiber arts alive! Come visit and share! Enjoy the day - rain or shine.
