Stonewall Links is a private golfing partnership located in northwest Chester County, Pa. Conceived by golf enthusiasts Jack May, Bud Fretz and other like minded individuals, Stonewall is not crowded, has no tee times or restrictions and has golf played on world class golf courses where players are encouraged to walk. The facilities at the club include two 18-hole championship golf courses, each with ranges, two golf houses with overnight accommodations, golf shops and restaurant facilities. The golf courses, both designed by Tom Doak and his company Renaissance Golf, compliment each other in a way whereby each offers a different approach to the game. The Old Course has more demanding shot values on driving accuracy and distance compliment the North Course, which requires a more exacting short game. The Old is a walking-only golf course while the North, encouraging the use of caddies, allows golf carts. Stonewall Links is headquartered in Elverson, Pa.
