Located in a relatively secluded section of Pioneer Avenue in Brookline, the St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church is dedicated to furthering the mission of its namesake: "To defend the Catholic faith and to make all things new in Christ." The church was founded in 1954, the same year as St. Pius' canonization. In September of 2002, Father Robert J. Miller was installed as only the fourth pastor in the history of the parish. The St. Pius Church remains closely committed to its founding principles.
