South Central is the largest elementary building in the Canon-McMillan school district, with a student population of more than 450 students. Its faculty provides a well rounded education and enhanced educational opportunities through the school's deployment of and accessibility to technology
This school also offers two special education options, as well as additional support provided through Autistic Support, Title I and Reading Recovery programs. South Central also provides its students with speech and language therapists, as well as English as a Second Language learning opportunity. For those academically gifted students the school does offer the SCOPE program.
