Founded by the Sisters of Charity, our first location opened at Marion Hall on Seton Hill University campus on July 6, 1966. Since then, we have expanded to serving over 350 children in 8 locations throughout Westmoreland County.

Celebrating our 50th Anniversary as an agency, Seton Hill Child Services, Inc. has been providing quality care and education to children throughout Westmoreland County since 1966. Families choose us because of our vast experience with early childhood education and development, warm and knowledgeable staff, and extensive programs that enable us to care for the total well-being of children. We have 8 locations throughout Westmoreland County: Greensburg, Jeannette, Irwin, Latrobe, New Kensington, Ligonier, New Florence and Scottdale. Available Programs: Early Head Start, Head Start, Pre-K Counts, Childcare/Day Care available - accepting all funding sources. Service options include full day or part day center-based care with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of families.. Kindergarten and school-age children can participate in before-school and after-school programs during the school year and full day programs during the summer.
