Based in Wynnewood, Pa., Schlessinger Media is the programming division of the Library Video Company. Founded in 1990, Schlessinger Media distributes more than 1,000 originally produced and licensed educational videos. Its programming supports and enhances nationwide curricula with an emphasis on science, social studies, language arts, math and health education. Schlessinger Media also has a science video library that includes more than 160 videos in over 15 series. Its documentary series provides students in grades nine and above with historical analyses of selected portions of a wide variety of famous speeches. Library Video Company is a distributor of educational videos, DVDs and audiobooks to schools and public libraries through the United States. Founded in 1985, the company stocks more than 18,000 titles that covering a wide variety of topics for all ages.
