History
Sensei Dustin J. Baldis, the Chief Instructor, founded the Pennsylvania Shotokan Karate Club (P.S.K.C.) in 1992 at the downtown YMCA in Pittsburgh. In late 1993, P.S.K.C. moved to Sewickley and later opened is second facility in Levelgreen, Pennsylvania. Sensei Baldis has been involved with traditional Japanese karate-do for over 34 years and is a Fifth degree Black Belt in the art of Shotokan Karate. As a current USA National Karate Team Coach and former USA National Karate Team member, Sensei Baldis has worked tirelessly to establish the Pennsylvania Shotokan Karate Club as a premier karate school within the Pittsburgh area and the United States. P.S.K.C. is known nationally and internationally for producing top elite martial art students that are disciplined, well mannered individuals who are respectful of themselves and others.
