The Pennsylvania School Boards Association, located in Mechanicsburg, Pa., is a nonprofit association of public school boards. Founded in 1895, it conducts several statewide educational programs each year, including board president-superintendent conference, legislative leadership conference, summer law and governance workshop and school leadership conference. Additionally, it offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as curriculum development, early childhood instruction, field trips, guidance counseling, home schooling and interscholastic athletics.
