The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute is a nonprofit, community-based health care facility that provides treatment to patients who suffer from cancer. The institute is comprised of several heath care facilities, including Moses Taylor Hospital, Mercy Heath Partners, the Community Medical Center, Marian Community Hospital and the Wyoming Valley Health Care System. Additionally, the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute provides online information on cancer and other health-related problems. The institute has a wok force of more than 40 employees, including physicians and support staff members. Established in 1991, the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute maintains one of its locations in Scranton, Pa.
