Started during the age of Bethlehem Steel, Nick's Coke Works Restaurant is still in business today. Nick still owns the place, and still strives to live up to his motto: "Good food at low prices." It's easy accessibility--right off of 78 and near the Sands--makes it a nice place to stop as people are just passing through, and also for truckers when they drop off their loads in the industrial park nearby. The little place has counter style dining and a limited number of tables. It's warm and cozy inside and nothing says America quite like the smell and sound of the fat sizzling on the griddle.
