Station 55 is located in the township adjacent to the police department in the municipal complex off Durham Road. The station is run by the Newtown Fire Association and provides service in Newtown Township, as well as the surrounding community of Upper Makefield. In addition to providing firefighting and emergency response services, the Fire Association offers station tours. Children can even hold birthday parties at the station to and get up-close to the fire trucks and equipment.
