From its 20-year run on the second floor of a South Main Street store to its current location at 295 E Center Street, The Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity has come a long way.
In 1970, after the library outgrew its home at the South Main Street location, the heirs of Peter and Katherine Trumbower donated the Trumbower home where the library prominently sits today. A $1.2 million addition and renovation of the library began in 1997, and the facility was rededicated on June 13, 1999. The following communities are served by The Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity: Upper Nazareth Township, Lower Nazareth Township, Nazareth Borough and Bushkill Township.
