Known by the locals as the Gingerbread House, this highly historic and ornate victorian home, located 35 minutes from the city of Pitsburgh. It has been restored to beyond it's original beauty and quality of the builder, Robert Porter, to allow for the modern day amenities. This beautiful house has been converted into a beautiful bed & breakfast, ready to treat you to a comfortable night's sleep and a scrumptious meal in the morning. The historic Montgomery Mansion was built in the 1870's by Robert Porter. It was later occupied by the Montgomery family from the early 1900s until the 1970s. The Montgomery Mansion was later owned by the neighboring Sacred Heart Church until it was renovated by the previous owners, in the 1990s when it was completely updated to it's current condition. The renovation continues under the direction of Butch and Shirley Smith.
