Susquehanna Valley Women in Transition offers counseling, shelter and other emergency services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties in Pennsylvania. It employs a trained sexual assault counselor who offers support to the raped and survivors of incest and childhood sexual assault. The organization also provides advocacy assistance that includes explaining the legal process and proceedings and accompanying women to court hearings.
