Antonio Imbarlina, DODr. Antonio Imbarlina (aka Dr. Tony) is a pediatric rehabilitation physician who was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and childhood-onset illnesses that result in physical and cognitive impairment. Additionally, Dr. Tony specializes in burn rehabilitation for both children and adults, focusing on the acute management of burn wounds and their consequences: hypertrophic scarring, amputations, neuromuscular problems, contractures, pain, and itching.Dr. Tony attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, served his internship at University Hospitals Regional Hospitals in Family Medicine, and did his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern. He also did his Fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Subspecialty.Dr. Tony evaluates his patients holistically and strives to both optimize their functional independence and decrease their burden of care. He resides within the city and loves being close to his family and friends. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading, listening to music, being outdoors, and partaking in martial arts. He serves his country in the United States Air Force Reserves, is a member of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
