Global Awakening
What is Global Awakening Global Awakening was founded in 1994 by Randy Clark as an outgrowth of his involvement in the Toronto Airport Fellowship revival the greatest revival movement of the last half of the 20th Century. During the first year the Toronto Blessing spread to 55, 000 churches around the world. Over 3, 000, 000 people visited the church during the first few years with thousands being rededicated and saved, and thousands more empowered and equipped to minister more effectively. Prior to the Blessing and the formation of Global Awakening, Randy Clark earned his Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and gained pastoral experience serving in the Vineyard Fellowship. Since his call to establish Global Awakening, he has been committed to serving and equipping the Church universal and is currently credentialed through the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening ( ANGA ). Through the formation of ANGA, international missions, the Schools of Healing and Impartation and Global School of Supernatural Ministry, Global Awakening is raising up a company of men and women who will facilitate revival among the nation's leaders, according to the revelation to the Apostle Paul regarding the purpose of the five fold ministries in Ephesians 4: 11-13: "It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Today, Global Awakening, based in in Mechanicsburg PA, is an international teaching, healing and impartation ministry which crosses Christian denominational lines. Comprising state-side ministry training and conferences, along with international missions, leadership training and humanitarian aid, Global Awakening, led by Rev. Randy Clark, has been welcomed by a vast diversity of churches across the globe. Clark and the Global Awakening team has traveled to over 36 countries and continues to travel extensively to bring hope, healing and power to the nations.
