Church of the Loving Shepherd is a community congregation which is shaped by its worship, the diverse experiences of its members and the broad historic outlines of the Christian tradition. Challenging members to discover themselves and find ways of living that nourish their lives and the larger community, the congregation’s home, Bournelyf, provides a special physical environment for its life, described by some as a "thin place". Supporting the freedom of each member to follow their own spiritual path, Church of The Loving Shepherd provides child care at most services, group gatherings for young members in K through 5th grade, events and worship on Sundays at 10am. The International Council of Community Churches is a post-denominational fellowship, providing a network of congregations and centers to which CLS belongs.
