The Law School Admission Council is a nonprofit organization that consists of more than 200 law schools in the United States and Canada. Its schools are approved by the American Bar Association. Headquartered in Newtown, Pennsylvania, the council offers services, such as law school admission test, data assembly, candidate referral, forums, test preparation publications and law school guides. Its data assembly service provides a means of centralizing and standardizing undergraduate academic records to simplify the admission process. The council s forum service helps students in interacting with professionals and collect admission materials, catalogs and financial aid information. Additionally, the Law School Admission Council operates an online book store that features official test preparation books and softwares.
