Dr. Gibon completed a hip and knee replacement surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, as well as a complex pediatric orthopaedic surgery fellowship at New York University (NYU), and an adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Florida (UF). Passionate about basic science, Dr. Gibon also attended Stanford University for two research fellowships. Prior to these fellowships, Dr. Gibon earned his medical degree from the University of Rouen in Normandy, France. Then he completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery and earned a PhD in biomaterials, both from the University of Paris in Paris, France. Dr. Gibon is the 2023 recipient of the prestigious John Insall Award, from the Knee Society, for his clinical research on knee replacement. Dr. Gibon is a joint replacement surgeon and exclusively performs hip and knee replacement procedures.
