On June, 17, 1972, Mikhail Khalil, an immigrant farmer from Syria, and his beloved wife, Agnes, opened a tiny place called Khalil's restaurant in South Oakland. And that night, began their amazing legacy in Pittsburgh. A few years ago, Mikhail fell ill and the family closed the restaurant in order to take care of him. He is now better, and Khalil's has reopened, happy to serve Pittsburgh the finest Middle Eastern cuisine!.. Ahalan Wa Sahalan!.... (
