But yelp uses extortion tactics, in an attempt to have a business pay for advertising. A company that pays yelp can remove bogus reviews, a company that chooses not to pay is not able to remove false reviews, or have them removed. Since it is the policy of yelp to tie the hands of business owners, and limit our ability to defend ourselves against telemarketers who feel slighted that we don't want their products, against people we have turned away and were never actually customers, against employees of other salons leaving false reviews. Please understand we will no longer cooperate with yelp.
