The Institute for Aegean Prehistory (INSTAP) is a non-profit organization based in the United States, established in 1982. Dedicated to supporting research on the civilizations of the Aegean and related areas, INSTAP has funded numerous projects spanning from the Paleolithic era to the early stages of Greek writing.
With a focus on excavation, scientific analysis, conservation, and publication, INSTAP has awarded over 4000 grants to scholars and organizations from more than 15 countries.
