HistoryLa Prima has been a local favorite for over 20 years. Owner Sam Patti's original business plan was to sell and service espresso machines from his first storefront located at the corner of Penn Avenue and Twenty First Street in the Strip District. The showroom quickly evolved into an Italian-style espresso bar when locals began to enjoy the ambiance and high quality coffee. In time, La Prima Espresso Company became not only a popular destination for those seeking a quality, Italian style shot of espresso, cappuccino, or other coffee beverage, but it also evolved into a roaster and wholesaler of fine coffees.SpecialtiesAt LaPrima, our mission is to source, roast, and serve quality coffees. We believe in using only the best green beans from specially chosen growinging regions around the world. We use small-batch roasters to ensure the optimal quality found only in small roasts.
