The Hellertown Historical Society is a volunteer organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the borough's rich history with others. The society's headquarters are adjacent to the Wagner Grist Mill complex and opposite the historic metal truss bridge known as the "Pony Bridge." Surrounding the buildings is Grist Mill Park, which is bordered by the Saucon Creek and includes two large ponds. Inside the three-story stone grist mill a variety of displays showcase Hellertown history, as well as the lost art of grinding grain. A pole building next to the Pony Bridge is also maintained by the HHS and houses antique farm implements and machinery from the early days of local agriculture.
