Kurfiss Philadelphia Real Estate
HistoryThe Kurfiss Sotheby's International Realty story begins in 1991 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, when it was purchased from the estate of founder David C. Kurfiss. The new owners wanted to establish an agency that offered buyers and sellers the personalized attention of a real estate boutique with the backing of professional marketing for real estate, lending and title services. In 2006, recognizing global real estate trends and the need to establish a truly international marketing platform, Pearson decided to affiliate Kurfiss with Sotheby's International Realty. The company added an office on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia to its New Hope, Bucks County, office and now serves clients in those areas and on Philadelphia's Main Line as well as in Hunterdon, Camden and Burlington counties in New Jersey.
