Glenside Elementary School is affiliated with the School District of Cheltenham Township. Located in Glenside, Pa., the school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through five. Its core curriculum includes English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Glenside Elementary School also provides speech, counseling, health education, challenge, reading, writing, spelling and computer education programs. The school has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school. The association support several programs and events, such as assembly programs, book fair, box tops, holiday store, kindergarten coffee and market day programs.
