Lakeland High School, located in Jermyn, Pa., is governed by the Lakeland School District. It teaches classes to students in grades seven through 12 in junior and senior levels, and enrolls more than 850 students. Lakeland High School s curriculum includes English, foreign languages, guidance, mathematics, science, social studies, family and consumer science, music, health and physical education, art, business and technology. The school provides a wide range of programs and activities, helping students to showcase both individual and group talent, such as student handbook, photographic tour, National Honor Society, student council, student assistance program, clubs, yearbook and school magazine. It also offers a wide range of athletic programs, including soccer, golf, cross-country, football, baseball, basketball, and track and field. Lakeland High School has computer and science labs, transportation department, library, media center, cafeteria, fitness center, technology lab and playgrounds.
