The Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority functions under the Third Class City Port Authority Act. It plans, acquires, constructs, maintains and operates facilities and projects for the improvement, development and operation of the port. The authority works to promote industrial, commercial and recreational opportunities for citizens.
