History
1993: Company Founded as Hoppers Brewpub in Erie's historic Union Sation. Brewing capacity was 1040 Barrels. 1996: Expanded production to 2,100 barrels and added bottling capacity. 1999: Transition from brewpub to full fledged microbrewery. Moved from Union Station to current production facility. Production capacity 6,000 Barrels. 2003 - 2007: Cardinal Equity Associates, a venture capital firm, gains majority stock in the company. A major overhaul of brand image and company management begins. 2010: With the addition of several new tanks, precision filtration systems, Monobloc Bottling Line, and grain silo, Erie brewing Co. is poised to comfortably transition to regional brewery status in the next several years. 2012: Erie Brewing Company undergoes a financial restructuring as well as an ownership change. June 15, 2017: Erie Brewing Company opens doors at New Brewery in Knowledge Parkway partnering with John's Wildwood Pizzeria!

Erie Brewery Company is an American craft brewery in Erie, Pennsylvania that brews six year-round beers as well as five seasonal beers and many specialty one-offs from our Erie Series! Erie Brewing Co. and John's Wildwood Pizzeria proudly announce Pub & Pie, a new brewpub destination opened at 6008 Knowledge Parkway, Erie, PA 16510. Pub & Pie will feature Erie Brewing Co. beers along with a newly expanded menu from John's Wildwood Pizzeria in a uniquely designed brewpub atmosphere. In June 2016, Erie Brewing Co. announced its relocation to a newly constructed 20,000-square-foot building in Erie that houses the company's brewery. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the state-of-the-art brewing process down a glass-walled corridor behind the Main Bar. The new building is also the home to a long-awaited second location of John's Wildwood Pizzeria. The pizzeria has its own sit-down dining area and take-out service with all the homemade, hand-crafted menu items made popular in their original Edinboro location.
