Allegheny College
Allegheny College is a liberal arts institution that has an annual enrollment of more than 2,100 students. The college has a library that offers class reserve readings and videos, archives, databases, educational CDs and DVDs, journals and media equipment. It offers various athletic activities that include basketball, bowling, floor hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, volleyball, racquetball, football and dodgeball. The college offers academic programs in American studies, studio arts, marine biology, classical studies, communication arts, computer science, applied computing and economics. It also offers study programs in managerial economics, environmental studies, political science, engineering, history, math, journalism, religious studies and philosophy. Allegheny College, founded in 1815, is located in Meadville, Pa.
