History
Digital Underground was originally opened in 1991 by Dave Heckman (Metropolis Records). Around 2001 Dave sold the store to Patrick Rodgers (Dancing Ferret) whom changed the name to Digital Ferret. In 2014 Joe Scott, the long-time manager of Digital Ferret bought the business from Patrick and reverted the name back to Digital Underground.
