Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley, which began as Bethlehem Ballet Company in 1958, celebrated its 50th season with the beginning of classes in September 2007. Many events were held to honor the occasion. Ballet Guild's Nutcracker was the first one held in the Lehigh Valley and was made possible by the generosity of the Junior League. A brand new dance company Invisible Dance Company, whose mission is to spontaneously bring the joy of dance to an unsuspecting audience - is about to make its debut in the Lehigh Valley. The nature of this company is ethereal the appearance and disappearance of IDC members at any given venue or moment is like smoke and mist; the known facts of IDC are ghosts moving in and out of conversational thoughts.
